Support The Prospect KC this season through a collaboration between Tannin Wine Bar, Mineral Lounge, The Prospect KC, and Nourish KC. Guests can participate by purchasing raffle entries or by volunteering at Nourish KC.

Raffle entries begin at $25 for one ticket. A $50 triple entry includes three raffle tickets, one Brown Forman cocktail, and one Diplomatico branded glass for the first 25 supporters. Raffle prizes include a dinner and wine pairing for four at Tannin Wine Bar valued at $500, and a happy hour experience for six at Mineral Lounge valued at $300.

Guests who volunteer with Nourish KC during the campaign period will receive five additional raffle tickets. All raffle proceeds and donations go directly to The Prospect KC to support culinary training and community food programs in Kansas City.

Join us on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, for an elegant New Year’s Eve celebration at Tannin Wine Bar & Kitchen. Enjoy a four course dinner, optional wine pairings and a festive night of live jazz as we count down to 2026 together. Music begins at 10:00 pm and continues until 1:00 am, featuring Kansas City jazz artists Brant Jester and David Chael. Celebrate the new year with great food, great wine and great company in the heart of downtown.

About the Musicians

Brant Jester

Brant Jester holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from Missouri State University and the University of Missouri Kansas City. He is an active jazz pianist, instructor, adjudicator and accompanist in Kansas City and is the former pianist of the Missouri Jazz Orchestra. Brant is also a jazz DJ for Jazz in the Afternoon on 90.1 FM KKFI and serves on the board of UMKC Jazz Friends. He has performed with Bobby Watson, Lynn Seaton, Bob Bowman, Julian Coryell, Rick DiMuzio, Dave Scott, Zaid Nasser, Peter Schlamb, Randy Hamm, Matt Otto, Marty Morrison and comedian Todd Glass. Brant also composes and arranges for jazz ensembles and choral groups and is the resident composer and arranger for the Springfield Chamber Chorus.

David Chael 

David Chael is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University and the University of North Texas where he performed with the One O’Clock Lab Band. He performs regularly throughout Kansas City with Bram Wijnands, the Roger Wilder Quartet, Westport Art Ensemble, Kerry Strayer and the New Kansas City Seven and Horacescope. David also works for the Social Security Administration.
