Eyrie Vineyards Wine Dinner
Thursday September 24th
An evening exploring one of the wineries that helped put Oregon wine on the map.
On Thursday, September 24, Tannin welcomes The Eyrie Vineyards for an intimate multi-course wine dinner celebrating more than six decades of pioneering Oregon winemaking.
Eyrie founder David Lett arrived in Oregon believing the Willamette Valley could become an extraordinary home for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In 1965, he planted the vines that would help launch the region’s modern wine industry, later establishing the first commercial Pinot Gris planting outside Europe.
Today, second-generation winemaker Jason Lett continues Eyrie’s work from its organically certified estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills. The winery produces classics including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris alongside less expected varieties such as Chasselas and Trousseau.
For this special dinner, Chef Rob will create a multi-course menu paired with a selection of Eyrie wines. The working lineup spans Chasselas Doré, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Estate Trousseau and Pinot Noir, giving the dinner a chance to explore the remarkable range of the estate. Final menu and pairings will be announced soon.
